CJB Industries Positioned to Enhance Customer Experience through Innovation while Expanding into New Markets

The recent leadership announcement from CJB Companies positions CJB Industries to deploy technology innovations and digital transformations that make a difference in customers’ business, while developing relationships and delivering solutions to the broader chemical market. The team guiding technological advancements is led by Mitchell Tatar, Director of Innovation, with collaboration and support from Krystal Cadle, Quality and Systems Manager, and Shane Kiselica, Digital Transformation Specialist. Driving customer relationships and market development are Sims Turner, Vice President of Sales and Business Development, and Amanda Lupo, Sales and Operations Planning Manager.

“CJB Industries is poised to transform our capabilities as a contract and toll manufacturer by tapping into the vast potential of technological advancements. This will open the door to new opportunities across the broader chemical market. We’ve put a high-quality team in place to help guide us, our customers, and future customers through the journey and ensure we’re continuing our service, quality, and safety excellence,” said Clinton Beeland, Founder and CEO of CJB Companies.

Amplifying Innovation to Deliver Transformative Solutions

Tatar has extensive experience in analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) developed as Industrial and Systems Engineer at CJB Industries. She also recently completed the Executive MBA Leadership Academy and Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma while earning her EMBA, specializing in Global Business, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Over the past two years, Tatar, Cadle, and Kiselica have worked together to transform operational data across CJB Industries’ three manufacturing plants. With support from Georgia Manufacturing Extension Partnership (GaMEP), Tatar, Cadle, and Kiselica implemented dataPARC to provide real-time data analysis and visualization that enabled them to optimize the manufacturing process. They also deployed new quality management software that helped the facilities realize increased productivity by reducing quality concerns, expanding capacity, and communicating more effectively. In 2024, they kicked off a project that will train AI to extract necessary information from customer packets into standardized formats that will enable more automated digital workflows and account for safety and quality checks.

As Director of Innovation, Tatar will drive transformative solutions that deliver impactful digital advancements, innovative technologies and products, and enhanced services. Cadle will develop strategic initiatives that use data, AI, and technology to enhance the customer experience while reducing risk and increasing speed. Kiselica will guide the adoption and implementation of advanced technologies that optimize operational processes and enhance effectiveness.

“I’m thrilled to continue working alongside Krystal and Shane to build upon the foundation of data systems and processes we implemented at CJB Industries so we can create and deliver added value for our customers and expand our business with new customers and markets. We have always been focused on delivering the best product in an efficient manner and on time for our customers. With all the technological advancements, we want to be sure we deploy technology where it makes sense. The new organizational structure opens the door to further innovation designed to offer customers a more streamlined approach to their projects, elevated quality controls to ensure project accuracy, and expanded services and capabilities,” Tatar explained.

Shaping the Customer Experience Across Multiple Markets

Turner has been instrumental in nurturing customer and industry relationships across the agricultural and specialty chemical markets since joining CJB Industries more than a decade ago. He gained hands-on experience across the business that gave him valuable insight into CJB’s commitment to working with all customers and their product requirements. As VP of Sales and Business Development, Turner will tap into this expertise to strengthen current customer relationships and develop new market and customer opportunities.

Lupo has been a key contributor to the success of CJB Applied Technologies since joining the company five years ago. She’s become a familiar face at industry events, and customers have come to rely on her professionalism and can-do mentality. In her new role as Sales and Operations Planning Manager, Lupo will expand her focus to include CJB Industries and elevate her role in delivering a valuable customer experience by serving as a liaison across project stakeholders to ensure service excellence and on-time delivery while also supporting opportunities in new markets.

Together, Turner and Lupo will build upon the companies’ strengths and capabilities in the agricultural market, assess opportunities in additional chemistry-centric markets, and dive deeper into understanding current and prospective customer needs. Turner and Lupo will tap into their relationship expertise to create a customer experience defined by the CJB values, or R.I.T.E.S, of respect, integrity, trust, excellence, and stewardship. They’ll work closely with Tatar, Cadle, and Kiselica to identify and highlight how digital advancements and innovative technologies will enhance the customer experience.

“We are deeply committed to upholding our CJB RITES in all our interactions, and I believe that and our ability to deploy technology where it makes sense are key differentiators. We strive to deliver our best work, be honest, and treat each customer’s project as if it was our own. I’m excited to work with this team to share with current and future customers how CJB Industries is pushing the boundaries of technology, digital advancements, and elevated services for their benefit,” Turner said.
